Those willing to brave the heights and cold temperatures can now get their kicks on Snow King Mountain Resort’s new Treetop Adventure course.
The course will open Sunday, the first time the public can check out the course for themselves. It also will be open Dec. 26 and Dec. 28-31.

Start times for the challenge range from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Reservations are recommended and walk-ins are welcome but not guaranteed.
The ropes course, which the mountain describes as “Swiss Family Robinson meets X-Games,” takes challengers through suspended bridges, up and over nets and across swinging logs. Participants can also hop on a zip line and ride an aerial skateboard.
The course is for anyone 12 years of age or older. The Flying Squirrel course is for kids ages 7 to 12. A more difficult “black” course for adults will open in the spring.
The Treetop Adventure course is located at mid-station of the Rafferty lift. Check-in for the Treetop Adventure is at Snow King Mountain Sports in the Snow King Hotel.
