Job Description
We are looking for a bartender to join our team! This individual will be responsible for taking orders, making drinks, and keeping the bar area cleaned. The bartender will be an outgoing individual with a desire to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Have a friendly and outgoing personality with the ability to interact with many different types of customers.
- Present drink menus to guests and make recommendations.
- Have an understanding of food safety and preparation skills.
- Ensure the bar is stocked daily with appropriate supplies and ingredients.
- Work alongside other servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
- Issue bills, accept payments, handle cash and credit cards.
- Anticipate, identify and correct system breakdowns to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.
- Communicate with the food and beverage department management and coworkers regarding product/service deficiencies equipment, safety problems, etc.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working as a bartender in a fast paced environment
- Hands-on experience working with a point of sale system and handling cash.
- Excellent people skills and a customer-oriented attitude
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must obtain TIPS certification
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English to understand instructions, safety rules, and communicate with guests.
- Work schedules will include holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
