New Years Eve 2026
New Year’s Eve at Snow King Mountain
IMORTANT UPDATE: The Torchlight Parade will be limited to season pass holders only due to snow conditions.
Event Schedule:
- Torch Light Parade starts at approximately 7pm.
- Fireworks immediately following the parade, approximately 7:30pm.
- The best place to view them is adjacent to the base of the gondola!
Torchlight Parade Participation
Expert Skiers Only; Season Pass Holders Only
Due to snow and weather conditions we are limiting the number of participants for safety. Participation in this year’s torchlight parade will be limited to season pass holders only. We are incredibly appreciative of our passholders and are glad to be able to continue this long-running community torchlight parade this year with our season pass holders.
Participants must be 13 or older and be expert skiers. All participants under 18 must have an adult present.
You must bring your season pass to scan through the gates and access the lift! If you have an issue with your pass please come early and you can have it resolved at the gondola ticket booth.
Check-In & Timing: Meet at the lodge room between 5:30pm and 6:00. All season pass holders should have already completed a waiver but if for some reason you have yet to complete your waiver / pick up your pass – Fill out your winter activities waiver in advance online to speed up the process. A briefing for participants will occur at 6pm and participants will load the lift shortly after.
Important Safety Rules:
- If you are visibly intoxicated you will be denied. No alcohol on the lift or in backpacks. Bags will be searched, and should be avoided.
- We suggest you dress warm, and wear clothing you don’t care about, you may accidentally drip your torch on yourself or skis.
- Do not bring personal fireworks of any sort.
- You must follow the parade to the bottom of the hill and end with the group, no skiers can remain up on the hill or it will delay fireworks.
- Don’t be the person that ends this amazing tradition for the community by doing something unsafe.
