Raptor Thursdays at the King
August 11, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 5:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until August 25, 2016
Birds of prey take center stage during an hour-long presentation and Q & A session with guests at the new King’s Grill at the base of Snow King Mountain.
One of Teton Raptor Center’s resident raptor experts will offer an up-close learning adventure with live raptors. Discussion topics may include traits of raptors, adaptations of diurnal and nocturnal raptors, fables and stories about raptors, local birds of prey, predator and prey relationships in a food chain, conservation trends relating to raptors, falconry, and much
more.
Audience members will have the chance to take close-up photographs of the birds and have the opportunity to ask questions about these magnificent raptors.
The programs begin July 7th and run through August 25th for a total of 8 weeks of programming on Thursdays from 5-6 p.m. throughout the
summer season.
