National Trails Day 2016

June 4, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Free

Friends of Pathways and the Bridger-Teton National Forest are teaming up to present Jackson’s National Trails Day.  Share your love of trails with friends, family, and our community by helping improve our local trails!

The 2016 FOP/Bridger-Teton NTD event will be held at the Nelson Drive Trailhead. Participants will work on improving the trail that leads up to the top of the small butte towards the North, by the National Elk Refuge. This has become a more popular places for short hikes and dog walks and volunteers will help make the trail more sustainable.
American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day® (NTD) is a celebration of America’s magnificent Trail System, occurring annually on the first Saturday in June. NTD features a series of outdoor activities, designed to promote and celebrate the importance of trails in the United States.
