Press Release: Snow King Mountain announces on-mountain dining with the all new King’s Grill

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jackson, WY (May 19, 2016) – Snow King Mountain is pleased to announce the opening of King’s Grill, a new family-friendly, all-American restaurant at the Rafferty lift base area. The menu is based on traditional American favorites infused with regional flavors from around the country.
Highlights include a Southern Burger ($15) with crispy shallots, bacon, sharp cheddar cheese, and a tangy Carolina-style bbq sauce. The LA Street Dog ($8) is a slightly more sophisticated take on the traditional frank wrapped with bacon, and topped with grilled peppers, onions, jalapeño and garlic aioli. The menu also offers unique options like carne asada fries ($12) with grilled steak, cheddar cheese, pico de gallo, and guacamole.
Executive Chef Christian Bustamante enjoys the creative process of developing a menu from scratch and is looking forward to sharing his unique take on American classics with guests at Snow King Mountain.
“I’m really excited to bring something different to the families coming through the doors of King’s Grill,” said Chef Bustamante. “While we have crowd-pleasers like pizza and burgers – or plain elbow macaroni with butter for the kids – we also give people the chance to try something new.”
The Kids menu, ranging from $6-$8, features classic, kid-friendly fare with a selection of flatbread pizzas, housemade chicken tenders, a burger, pasta 3-ways, grilled cheese sandwiches, and a fruit bowl.
And don’t forget, there’s always room for ice cream! King’s Grill provides a place to stop for a hand-dipped ice cream sundae, a creamy chocolate shake, or a quick soft-serve waffle cone. Root beer floats as well as “The Avalanche” – ice cream blended with candies and cookies – round out the menu for diners with a sweet tooth.
A soft opening to the public beginning Friday, May 20th at 10am will provide an opportunity for Chef Bustamante and his team to put the finishing touches on the restaurant in preparation for a busy Memorial Day weekend.
King’s Grill, located at 402 East Snow King Avenue in the new Rafferty Activity Center, is now open daily for lunch and dinner throughout the summer season. The public is invited to call 307-201-KING for additional information.
